Alt-Country singer/songwriter Andrew Wiscombe is the embodiment of American reality. Born into blue collar America, he was raised in her rural landscapes, educated in her schools, and a soldier in her wars. A former Army sniper turned Berklee trained troubadour, Wiscombe sings for the forgotten folks on the fringes-rarely recognized, scarcely celebrated. His work clothes emotions in American roots music to tell stories of everyday life through the eyes of a child, the hands of a working man, the warm embrace of a father, or the scope of a sniper rifle. His rough hewn music has drawn comparisons to legends like Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and Ryan Adams.
His third album, A Greene Street Manifesto (released August 20,2018 through Sonic Valley Records), delivers 10 brand new stories as told with blazing harmonica, rolling guitars, foot-stompin’ kick drum, and Wiscombe’s signature vocal twang. The album was written during Wiscombe’s first international tour and is a follow up to 2017’s Indiana and his 2016 work with Operation Encore: A Veteran Music Project. Co-produced by Wiscombe and Dave Cebrowski at Stony View Sound in Spanish Fork, Utah.
